This ring is inspired by the tale of Circe, the goddess of witchcraft, as told by Madeline Miller. A peridot cabochon is held aloft by claw prongs in honor of Circe's wild lion companion, and behind the gemstone an eye touches your skin to ward off the evil eye. And finally, the band of the ring is wound and bound by twisted roots to represent the transformative power of her moly flowers.
The vivid green color of peridot is eye catching and it is easy to see why it has been a prized gemstone since ancient times!
